Conference Questions:

Is this conference geared for youth as well as adults?

Our target audience for this conference is adults. Our theme this year is Strategies to Address Opioid Misuse. The sessions will discuss engaging the most current and cutting edge issues and programs in prevention such as social media, utilizing research to guide prevention efforts, best practices in parenting, etc..

No, we do not offer any scholarships. We have tried to keep the cost down. $200 is a value for 2 1/2 days of training. It includes continental breakfast and lunch all three days of conference.

Can I attend a pre- conference session without attending the entire conference?

Yes, but you have to attend both days of the pre- conference session.

We will provide you with a certificate for the pre-conference session (approx. 14 hours) and the main conference (approx. 14 hours). We have so many disciplines that attend that we can’t have them all approved. In the past prevention certification hours were submitted to SCAPPA CTRC.
