Is this conference geared for youth as well as adults?
Our target audience for this conference is adults. Our theme this year is Spotlight on Best Practice Program Approaches. The sessions will discuss engaging the most current and cutting edge issues and programs in prevention such as social media, utilizing research to guide prevention efforts, best practices in parenting, etc..
Are there scholarships?
No, we do not offer any scholarships. We have tried to keep the cost down. $190 is a value for 2 1/2 days of training. It includes continental breakfast and lunch all three days of conference.
Can I attend a pre- conference session without attending the entire conference?
Yes, but you have to attend both days of the pre- conference session.
How many CEU’s are available each day? Are there CEU’s available for the Grant Writing Survival School?
We will provide you with a certificate for the pre-conference session (approx. 14 hours) and the main conference (approx. 14 hours). We have so many disciplines that attend that we can’t have them all approved. In the past prevention certification hours were submitted to SCAPPA CTRC.
Do you have an agenda and description of each session that will be offered and the topics that will be covered at this conference?
