Is this conference geared for youth as well as adults?
Our target audience for this conference is adults. Our theme this year is Prevention of Youth Substance Abuse: Reaching Out to Missing Partners (law enforcement, military, parents, media, faith community, civic, businesses, schools, health care). The sessions will discuss engaging these partners in the prevention of youth substance abuse.
Are there scholarships?
No, we do not offer any scholarships. We have tried to keep the cost down. $150 is a value for two days of training. It includes continental breakfast and lunch all three days of conference.
Can I attend a pre- conference session without attending the entire conference?
Yes, but you have to attend both days of pre- conference.
We also have single day registration.
How many CEU’s are available each day? Are there CEU’s available for the Grant Writing Survival School or I’m Special pre- conference sessions?
We will provide you with a certificate for the pre-conference session (approx. 14 hours) and the main conference (approx. 14 hours). We have so many disciplines that attend that we can’t have them all approved. In the past prevention certification hours were submitted to SCAPPA CTRC.
Do you have an agenda and description of each session that will be offered and the topics that will be covered at this conference?
Please check out our web page: www.CoalitionForHealthyYouth.org. The brochure is on the web page as are the break-out presenters and topics. For presenters and topics, go to the website, click on 2012 Conference tab, then Break-out tab.
Do you register for break- out sessions prior to the conference?
No. Each break-out session is on a first come basis, though we have not had an issue in the past with a session being closed.
What are the lodging options in the area?
That info is on our web page, www.CoalitionForHealthyYouth.org.
How do I register for just the pre- conference workshops?
There is a button to register on our web page: www.CoalitionForHealthyYouth.org

The carnival will be located at the Edward Scott House downtown historical Lancaster, on the corner of Elm and Catawba Streets.
Will tickets for the Carnival be on sale at the conference?
Yes, a small number of tickets will be available during the conference, but it is suggested that you purchase your Carnival on Elm Street ticket when registering.
